The Marines 250 celebration requires help from all of us. The following is a list of some of the ways that you can help.
If you are a Marine and do no belong to the local Marine Corps League, Women Marine Association or the Montford Point Marine Association, and need help finding a group, reach out to us for assistance.
Contact your state senator regarding United States Marine Corps Semper Fidelis Memorial Highway on a section of Interstate 80 (already approved by the house).
Send us stories and pictures of local Marine heroes from Illinois. Please send names, dates, and accurate story for possible PR during Marine 250.
We are seeking USMC veteran-owned businesses with point of contact, address, phone number, email, and type of business.
We need to know about corporate leaders that are Marine veterans with point of contact, address, phone number, email, and type of business.
We want to know about Marine veteran educators with point of contact, address, phone number, email, and school.
Help us fill our Calendar of Events - social, informal or formal (i.e., USMC Birthday, Landing at Okinawa, TET Offensive, OIF/OEF, Local Parades)
Local Marine Corps League, Women Marine Association, Montford Point Marine Association, Marine Corps Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps, Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps or Young Marines who have “Organized” Color Guards – the plan is to have the Presentation of Colors at every Professional Sporting Event on Saturday or Sunday when they are in town.
We are looking to have 2 “official” USMC Cake cuttings Daley Center in Chicago and Springfield State Capitol (need volunteer to take Point).

Proclamations to be posted on our website – we will have a recommendation for proclamation that you can use in your community at the village, city and county level proclaim the Historic Contributions of the Marines from their Community with 250 years of loyal and dedicated service.
Do you have Marine License Plate for your Vehicle or Motorcycle?
Participate in Community Relations Projects, School Presentations, etc.
